Assignment venue

Every aiic interpreter has what is termed a “professional residence”, usually where the interpreter has many or even most of his assignments. However an interpreter may often work elsewhere for various reasons. The interpreter may have specialist knowledge of a particular subject; or, over time, a client may have built up an especially successful relationship with the consultant interpreter and wish to use the same – or an equally competent – team, irrespective of where the event is being held.
